The museum was founded by Daniel Schmid & Juergen Bluemlein (www.fauxami.com), 2 idealistic Skateboarders who have collected innumerable skateboard items from all over the world. With a selection of about a 1000 pieces exhibited, you can travel back through 60 years of Skateboard history and check out the technical inventions plus the social development in society – the influences of skateboarding to contemporary art, fashion, literature, music and film making are also highlighted in the exhibition.

Besides the steady exhibition you have changing exhibitions in one part of the Museum. Right now they show the DIRT OLLIES EXHIBITION about our Skateboardtrip to Mongolia. In addition to this they organize theme-specific exhibitions all over the world, just lately they did an amazing one about censorship in skateboarding during the BRIGHT TRADESHOW, check www.skateboardfieber.de.
We are happy to have donated this supernice piece of furniture to the Museum, which has been planned and built by Joerg Schaller (www.sk8parks.de) with the help of Matt Grabowski (www.minus-ramps.com). The bowl is really amazing and just one more good reason to pay a visit.
The cradle got some of Germany’s legendary Axel Goerger’s handmade
Bowl Coping, which Pudi is doing in his barn close to Freiburg.
