Vienna: funk fuelled Detroit session

Flo Real, Moodymann’s permanent companion and warm-up DJ, brings Amp Fiddler to Vienna's Viennale for a special Detroit night. The Detroit based producer is a longstanding figure of the music scene in his hometown – he studied jazz and started his musical mission with the band Enchantment. During the 1980s he joined George Clinton and his Parliament/Funkadelic tribe, and also shared a stage with stars like Prince, Seal or Jamiroquai. Throughout, he has always was produced his own funk or deeply moving records, together with his buddies like Moodymann, Carl Craig or Theo Parrish. In 2016 he released his latest album, titled Motor City Booty – required listening if you want a taste of what his Vienna performance will sound like. Before and after Flo Real shows what it means to be real, expect hot house and funk music for deep soul loving dancers.
