Expect the unexpected: the Spanish Paraleloan party serial never repeats itself. The next bash features Birmingham-raised, London-based producer, DJ and owner of the UIQ label Lee Gamble – an artist that is always good for a surprise. As an avid record collector since years, his skills as a musical selector go far beyond the techno and house bubble. He can play 1990s UK bleep stuff, jungle, old and new drum & bass, as well as dubby electronics and straight-up techno. Also, his companion of the night, the Barcelona based DJ Tutu, has a multifaceted style and loves to develop a deeply absorbing story arc that ranges from slow-motion house to cosmic spheres to abstract grime to acid techno. What he and she stylistically will spin depends on the location too, as both love to play music that interacts with the public and the space. So if you always wanted to dance on San Sebastian’s famed architecture, maybe the next Paraleloan party might be the place to be. Before the party starts there will be a little in-store warm-up at our Carhartt WIP store in San Sebastian. Katza from Paraleloan will play b2b with Frankie Pizá from Palma de Mallorca, who is also the creative mind behind the Spanish music magazine TIU. The event takes place between 7–20 pm. Expect free drinks.
