Munich: Permanent Vacation @ Kong

To ensure that it will be a wingding at Kong, the label's head honchos Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly invited the German producer Lake People to play live alongside their DJ sets. The Leipzig based producer gained international attention five years ago, when he started to put out melancholy tech house tracks on labels like Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Permanent Vacation or Rumors. Just recently he released his debut album Purposely Uncertain Field - a record that grooves hypnotic between odd house, straight techno and a lot of gently ’90s ambient and electronica. The right mixture for a party that wants to go deep while avoiding stylistical limitations.
