Bilbao: DJ Stingray in 313 mood

Sherard Ingram aka DJ Stingray is a keyfigur in the world of techno for over twenty years. The man from Detroit is the mastermind behind the groundbreaking project Urban Tribe, that features also his school friend and former DJ partner Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann as well as friends and peers such as Anthony 'Shake' Shakir, Carl Craig or the Belgian producer Mariska Neerman. His most illustrious work might have been as part of Drexciya's live unit. As a solo producer, he released as DJ Stingray 313 dozen's of EPs and one LP full of moving futuristic "Motor City" techno and electro, that stands out in terms of radicalness, vigor and deeply moving effectiveness. After several festival appearances this summer, sometimes alone, sometimes together with young artists such as Helena Hauff, he now plays an intimate heavy hitting 313 show at the next Paraleloan party. His combatant's of the night are the influential Catalan selectors DJ Chelis and Wah Wah Discos' DJ Zero, who will play a four hour b2b set. What up doe?
