Cologne: hypnotic polyrhythmic miniatures

Because the male/female duo plays exhilarating, hypnotic music that employs everything from guitars and banjos to kitchenware. Sometimes the deepness of their polyrhythmic layered tracks reminds you of the great work that David Byrne and Brian Eno produced in the early eighties. With little drums, synthezisers, cool shakers, lots of loops, echoes, and reverbs they confect a catchy Folktronic sound, that lately gets more and more infected by Disco.

Tomorrow they present their latest album High Places vs Mankind in Colognes sweat little club King Georg.

The right place for falling in love with the crisp percussive beats and lilting vocal melodies of this inimitable hippyish duo from California.
