Out today: The Burton x Carhartt WIP collection combining classic Carhartt WIP designs with Burton’s technical performance fabrics and expertise.
The result is a line of innovative, durable pieces geared for mountain-driven functionality. Comprised of ten pieces, the collection features workwear- inspired detailing and silhouettes, taken from iconic Carhartt WIP pieces, which have then been translated into an outdoor-performance context. This sees a classic coverall created executed in a waterproof DRYRIDE 2-Layer Cordura® Fabric, and a silhouette informed by the Carhartt WIP Active Jacket fabricated in a 3-Layer Twill Fabric with an 18 Denier Tricot Scrim Shell for added warmth.
The collection also includes a selection of accessories, such as a pair of co-branded mitts and a beanie constructed from a blend of lambswool, yak wool and cashmere. Additionally, there is a waterproof backpack, and duffel bag created in a robust Cordura® fabric.
