Dekmantel Ten – Conference Program

Dekmantel Festival is celebrating its 10th edition with an extended program, stretching over the course of ten days, with the addition of multiple conferences at Het HEM, as well as Aan Het IJ in collaboration with EYE Filmmuseum.

Conferences at Het HEM take place on 27th and 28th July, featuring workshops, panel discussions and live interviews, designed to dig beneath the surface of today’s electronic music landscape with the artists who are shaping it. Discussions will be hosted by music journalist Shawn Reynaldo (of First Floor), with support from Carhartt WIP.

The program at Het HEM will include a two-day workshop by the Dutch-based collective Kantarion Soundsystem; plus, panel discussions featuring London-based stylist, writer and cultural commentator Ayishat Akanbi, as well as, Amoral, Aurora Halal, and Luke Slater.
