Upcoming week Carhartt WIP will publish The Carhartt WIP Archives - a book published by Rizzoli, that takes a deep look into the multicoloured history of Carhartt WIP and all its diverse links to youth culture's like skate, music, or graffiti. The publication features more than 350 images, including heaps of hitherto, unpublished photographs, artworks, as well as ephemera drawn from the company’s own archives and different private collections, providing an unparalleled look into the brand’s bustling universe.
The launch will be celebrated with an art installation dedicated to the book at Koenig Gallery - St. Agnes in Berlin. To bring some music from the Carhartt WIP cosmos to the launch, London's finest NTS Radio will do a special broadcast that will reflect almost 30 years of underground club culture. On the bill are US Jazz and soul connoisseur DJ Amir, Paris Ed Banger boy Busy P, producer, DJ and visual artist GE-OLOGY, Berlin based musician, producer and DJ Max Graef as well as German drum & bass veteran and high-profile producer Kabuki from Frankfurt. So tune in upcoming Thursday, November 3rd from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm and get hooked by rhythms and sounds from the past, present and maybe future.
