Usually the rhythm of life beats easy in Gijón, the north Spanish city in the Bay of Biscay. But when L.E.V. Festival celebrates odd grooving sounds, hecticness hits the town. To make sure that high tension rises again, the organisers of L.E.V. spared no pains to set up a special line-up with music that ranges from percussivec techno and bass-heavy Dubstep to electronic avant-garde Jazz. Anew the Festival operates as a free open space in which electronic music and visual and scenic artwork together in a multidimensional synergy. That is why you will not only get overwhelmed by the sound. Also lots of visual animations will hit your retina. On the bill are artists such as Monolake, the German duo that created their own world of sound microstructures circulating between of dub, ambient and techno, Norwegian ambient electronic musician Biosphere or Berlin based artist Kuedo who will melt Sci-Fi-soundtrack atmospheres with deep composed sound-design experiments. Also Russian-born artist Dasha Rush shows up to introduce her Antarctic Takt project - an Audio–Visual performance in collaboration with the Russian visual artist Stanislav Glazov. If you want to dive deeper into the awesome L.E.V. Festival agenda, just check their website or book a airplane to Gijón.
