Carhartt WIP proudly presents a special Detroit strong party at Moog club. We invited Detroit’s finest Kenny Dixon Jr aka Moodymann for a very special ceremony. Since long the Detroit based DJ and producer is globally famed for pioneering his own house and genre-bending electronic music productions, remixes for artists like Lana Del Rey or Junior Boys, his unique DJ skills and his groundbreaking record labels like KDJ, Mahogani, NFD and Private Collection. In Barcelona he will perform together his old buddy DJ and producer Andrés, who is probably one of the most skilled DJs alive.
Furthermore sweet Flo Real will play some sexy grooves for all those cats, that like to move and not to march. Before the night action we also welcome Andrés for an instore DJ set at our Carhartt WIP store in Barceloneta between 19 - 22 pm. Both events celebrate the launch of a compact clothing collection that toys around with iconic graphics from Moodymann’s larger than life record labels Mahogani Music and KDJ Records. Additionally a Carhartt WIP Mahogani x KDJ Records show mixed by Andrés will be released to accompany the collection with Mahogani Music’s iconic sound made in Detroit.
