Carhartt WIP is a longtime supporter of the London based station, through the weekly NTS Wednesday Club shows featuring Moxie, Martelo, Kutmah and many more. Having been a vital part of the station’s creative success, we are now happy to announce the launch of our NTS x Carhartt WIP Radio Tour in Cologne. For the first stop of our intensive musical journey we invited the producer, DJ and visual artist Ge-ology, who has produced songs for a list of notable artists including Mos Def (aka Yasiin Bey), Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, De La Soul and even a young Tupac Shakur. As a DJ he likes to weave diverse music genres to inspire soulful movements on the dance floor. Beside playing old and new rhythms he will also showcase some of his very own new productions that will be released later this year on the Sound Signature label. The man from Brooklyn gets accompanied by the up-and-coming DJ and producer Wolf Müller from the Themes For Great Cities label and NTS host Benny Blanco. The launch of our NTS x Carhartt WIP Radio Tour will be broadcasted live from our Carhartt WIP store, in which we will install a special, custom-built booth to replicate the original NTS Radio booth in London.
