Berlin native Max Graef formed a band with his mates from the Oye record store. Now they hit the streets of Europe. Carhartt WIP proudly presents the first European live tour of the Max Graef Band - a freshly formed six-piece outfit that released their first full-length album Dog last December.
The band is fronted by bassist Max Graef and also features his Oye Records store buddies Kickflip Mike on the drums, Valentin Handrick on the electric piano, Ludwig Labuzinski on Moog sub37, synths, effects and percussion, Alex Seidel on Crumar Roadyand and Dave Smith mopho x4 as well as Gerry Franke on the guitar. Their album is the result of various improvised studio sessions and unfolds their love of Funk and Jazz. On stage they will not only intone their album songs and leave some space for spontaneous freewheeling moments, in which each of the members will proof their skills as one-off instrumentalists.
