“It’s an exciting time for VuerichB as we launch this special collaboration Collector’s pack composed of a limited edition handmade wooden box, Scott’s premier novel containing the author’s fingerprint and eyewear designed by both Scott and VuerichB. The outer frame is high quality Black Oak while the inner is a natural Maple laser engraved with selected sentences from Scott’s novel. Additionally each pair comes with a wooden bookmark featuring the artwork of Jeremy Fish. The complete set is meant to illustrate the plural personalities and influences of Scott.”
Scott Bourne is an American writer who has spent the best part of the last decade in France. Championed as the "dark genius of skateboarding", Bourne was one of the most celebrated personalities in the hard-edged San Francisco skate scene of the 90's. His novel A Room With No Windows is published by 19/80 Editions.
VuerichB was founded by Baptiste Vuerich in 2010, based on the original idea of recycling skateboard decks into sunglasses, and since its birth has created one of the biggest trends in the eyewear industry. The VuerichB research and development team are constantly looking for new ways to use unexpected materials and push the standard of design.
