tim was born and raised in "mülheim an der ruhr" in germany and now he lives in düsseldorf together with his lovely family. his story of being a photographer matches those of other guys sharing  his passion. he's been addicted to skate and snowboarding most of his life and of course strongly influenced by this lifestyle. through this fact he had the chance to meet and contact many different  photographers and artists who have fascinated and inspired him greatly.

growing older, he had to face the negative aspects of these sports and with the health in mind he decided to become more professional behind the camera.

tim started to take photos in 2008 and loves to shoot with the analog medium format, 35mm and digital cameras...

since 2012 he is a freelance photographer, mostly focused in action-sports as well as many other fields and his works are published in various magazines, national and international...

actually he works as senior photographer for the bmx rider magazine.

and as a staff photographer for place skateboarding magazine.
