Cotch International is back with a very special dancehall oriented bash at London’s Rye Wax. From the Big Apple, Mixpak Soundsystem (aka Dre Skull & Jubilee) will be headlining the party. Fresh off releasing LPs from Vybz Kartel, Popcaan and Palmistry, and reigning champions of the Red Bull Soundclash where they dropped an impressive Drake dubplate, Cotch managed to get the guys to agree to a show in a venue a fraction of the size they usually play. On warm up duties: London based producer and DJ Mina, who just released the stunning electronic meets house EP Sentah on Enchufada. More live action comes from London girl Lisa Mercedez, who is part of Repping Peckham's Warning Crew and one of the UK's freshest dancehall artists, blending rap influences with a hard-edge ragga flow. Her live show will also feature a full dance crew on stage. The action is rounded off by the mighty Gold Reservers and Cotch Soundsystem with a mix of fresh UK bass music as well as unreleased stuff from the nascent Cotch International label. As with all Cotch parties, don't be late as space will be limited, air will be thin and sweat will be inevitable.
