Croatia: Lighthouse Festival

No doubt: Croatia has become the new party hotspot in Europe. Since 2013 the Lighthouse Festival, organized by a dedicated team that is also in charge for the club Pratersauna in Vienna, takes place on a breathtaking peninsula, right on the fine pebble beaches of the Adriatic Sea. The festival offers more than ten unique venues which are all reachable within short walking distance. This year's line-up features Hamburg's crazy techno brass band Die Vögel. Their good friend DJ Koze, who soon will release his first DJ Kicks compilation, will play, too. For melancholic banging house and techno rhythms young and promising producers like Alex Do or Zenker Brothers come by and perform beside established artists like Acid Pauli, house godfather Lil Louis, analogue cosmic warrior Legowelt, Italy's eclectic house and disco king Massimiliano Pagliara and the crazy US duo Tiger & Woods. Exclusive boat parties, DJ cooking events and other non-musical activities round up a program that fulfils the festival's claim "electronic music on vacation" perfectly.
